503 AV Interface

 

 The 503 AV Interface is a DIN-rail mounted device that provides two-way communication between a serial RS232 port on a personal computer, or AV system, and:

  • DIGIDIM/DALI systems (standalone or programmed with Toolbox or with Helvar’s 924 LCD TouchPanel).
  • Helvar’s 905 DIGIDIM Router
  • Helvar’s 910 DIGIDIM Router
  • Helvar’s 920 Imagine Router

 

The AV Interface enables external serial devices to have basic control over the system, as well as make basic queries on the system status. For this purpose, the system commands are documented and openly available from Helvar.

The AV Interface has full optical isolation between the system and the serial RS232 port.
